Dr J.C. Mehta joins NCI |
On 1 October 2007, NCI Cancer Hospital
announced the appointment of Dato' Dr. J.C. Mehta as
its new Medical Director. Dr. Mehta is a highly respected
clinician and brings to NCICH 48 years of experience
in the medical profession, having held various top posts
throughout his career as a medical practitioner in the
country.
As NCICH's Medical Director, his role
is to lead the senior management team in driving NCI
Cancer Hospital towards excellence in both patient care
and performance regionally.
His scope of responsibilities are to
improve service quality, ensure compliance with ISO
9001 standards and to progressively move the hospital
towards achieving the Joint Commission International
(JCI) accreditation.
